The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, held a phone call on Tuesday with the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement PIJ Ziad Al-Nakhalah, during which the Resistance leaders discussed the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Jenin camp.

Haniyeh and Al-Nakhalah praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, their Resistance, and the unity of the battlefields.

The collective position of different Resistance factions and forces in defending the camp confirms that the Resistance is the strategic choice of the Palestinian people for confronting the Israeli occupation.

The two leaders stressed the necessity of strengthening the Resistance, providing direct and full support for Jenin, and thwarting the occupation's goals in undermining the Resistance and its capabilities.

Resisting the occupation will continue through all means and at all levels, they announced, stressing that the battle of Jenin has its aftermath in terms of impact, results, and repercussions, they said.

Continued communication and permanent consultation is a vital need, Al-Nakhalah and Haniyeh confirmed, stressing that the situation must be assessed in order to take appropriate action according to the on-the-ground developments.

The parties will take necessary decisions on the basis of the unity of the Palestinian people, their righteous cause and the Resistance in all its locations.

IOF massacre at Gaza hospital leaves at least 28 killed, 70 injured

This comes as the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the city and camp of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, for the second day in a row, while Palestinian Resistance fighters bravely confront Israeli occupation forces with barrages of bullets and detonating explosive devices.

Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli occupation aggression against the city and camp of Jenin had risen to 10 after the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that it had recovered a martyr's body from Horsh Al-Saada area.

PRCS confirmed that its medical teams dealt with 120 injuries in the field so far, indicating that the occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching the locations of the injured.

On its part, the Palestinian Prisoners Information Office stated that the occupation forces arrested about 120 Palestinians from the city and camp of Jenin since the start of the aggression.

The city of Jenin witnessed continued violent confrontations throughout Monday night as the Israeli occupation forces deployed reinforcements in attempts to break the Resistance lines of defense.

Israeli occupation air force renewed its shelling of sites in Jenin on Tuesday morning, as occupation forces stormed the city's neighborhoods, amid massive destruction as a result of the brutal aggression.

The Israeli military also enforced a siege on the camp and closed down all land routes leading to it by checkpoints.

Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade - announced that its fighters confronted the occupation forces on the outskirts of the camp using heavy fire and explosives.

Jenin deputy mayor Mohammed Jarrar confirmed that the occupation forces deliberately demolished the homes in the camp, after forcing a number of the residents out.

Jarrar warned that the extent of the destruction is large, adding that Palestinian residents complained about the lack of water and power outages.
