Hamdeen Sabahi congratulates Sinwar on appointment as Hamas leader
The sole path toward victory is through resistance, Secretary-General of the Arab Nationalist Congress Hamdeen Sabahi said.
Secretary-General of the Arab Nationalist Congress Hamdeen Sabahi, on Thursday, congratulated Yahya Sinwar, the newly elected head of Hamas' political bureau, succeeding the late martyr Ismail Haniyeh.
In a statement released by the ANC and published on his Twitter account, Sabahi expressed confidence that Sinwar's unanimous election reinforces Hamas' and the resistance forces' resolve to continue confronting aggression.
"On behalf of my brothers in the Arab Nationalist Congress and on my own behalf, I extend to you the sincerest congratulations on your unanimous election as the head of Hamas, succeeding the great martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, who had the closest ties with our conference," the statement read, adding that "the sole path toward victory is through resistance."
Sabahi added that the Palestinian people prove on a daily basis that the power of resolve is most effective in addressing power imbalances.
He further said that the Palestinians' Resistance efforts are not just reactive but are actively reshaping the political and strategic landscape on multiple levels, including national, regional, and global levels.
