Hezbollah destroys Israeli Merkava, releases footage of Almas attack
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announces the martyrdom of two of its fighters on the path to al-Quds: Bilal Mourad and Hussein Fawwaz.
In a series of strategic attacks on Saturday, May 25, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah executed a series of operations targeting Israeli military bases and manned sites and vehicles, resulting in significant damage and casualties.
The Resistance group announced in the first operation of the day at 12:20 pm that its fighters identified a Merkava battle tank fortified inside a structure in the al-Marj military base, and after close monitoring, the tank was struck with a guided missile, leading to its destruction and the killing and wounding of its crewmembers.

In retaliation for recent Israeli assassinations, particularly in al-Mansouri, Islamic Resistance fighters launched an assault on targets within the Zar'it barracks at 1:05 pm using guided missiles and artillery shells. The attack successfully hit and destroyed the intended targets.
At 4:15 pm on Saturday, the fighters targeted the Zebdine site in the occupied Shebaa Farms with artillery shells, achieving a direct hit.
Responding to Israeli attacks on steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 2:30 pm a building where Israeli occupation soldiers are stationed in the al-Manara settlement with rocket weaponry, hitting it directly. Furthermore, the Resistance launched another attack on a building in al-Manara, again achieving a direct hit.

Later, at 6:10 pm, the fighters struck surveillance equipment at the Roeuissat al-Alam site in the occupied Kfar Chouba hills with appropriate weapons, destroying the equipment.
At 7:00 pm, and in response to ongoing Israeli aggressions, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted two buildings used by occupation soldiers in the Metulla settlement, using appropriate weapons, confirming direct hits on both buildings.

The Resistance also released footage revealing an operation targeting an Israeli Namer armored personnel carrier (APC) stationed at the al-Marj base. The video shows a military vehicle being directly struck by an Almas missile.

The Resistance also published footage of two qualitative operations carried out on Saturday.
Hezbollah struck in the first operation the command center of Battalion 769 in Beit Hillel with Falaq rockets, achieving a direct hit.
In the second attack using a one-way drone, the Resistance attacked the newly established 91st Division headquarters in Ayelet, also accurately hitting the positions of Israeli officers and soldiers directly.

Hezbollah reiterated that the operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to the Israeli aggression on the steadfast southern Lebanese villages and civilian homes.
The Islamic Resistance also announced that two of its fighters were martyred on Friday while carrying out their Resistance duty on the path to al-Quds.
The martyrs were identified as Bilal Amin Mourad (Nasser) and Hussein Nabih Fawwaz (Shaheed).
Mourad was born in 1987 and was from the town of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon.

Hussein was born in 1988 and was from the town of Tebnine in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah added.
