Hezbollah mourns fighters martyred while performing duty of defense
Hezbollah has been engaging Israeli occupation forces from South Lebanon, dealing heavy blows to Israeli infantry forces and armored vehicles since October 7.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, mourned six of its fighters who were martyred while on duty, the Resistance Party stated on Saturday.
The six fighters join their other comrades who were martyred since October 7, as Hezbollah stands in support of Gaza amid indiscriminate Israeli aggression.
The six fighters martyred today are:
- Martyr Ismail Ahmad al-Zein, "Haidar Ali", from Chehour, South Lebanon
- Martyr Bilal Nemer Rmeity, "Abu Ali Nour", from al-Majadel, South Lebanon
- Martyr Ali Khalil Khreis, "Haidar", from Khiyam, South Lebanon
- Martyr Abbas Bassam Shouman, "Abu al-Fadel", Hay al-Nabi Naam, Baalbek
- Martyr Ibrahim Hassan Atoui, "Abu Turab", from Souaneh, South Lebanon
- Martyr Wissam Mohammad Haidar, "Ahmad Abbas", from Khiam, South Lebanon
Moreover, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) military wing, al-Quds Brigades, also mourned its fighter Mohammad Mahmoud Mousa, who was martyred on Saturday in South Lebanon while on a mission in support of Gaza and Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Resistance groups, led by Hezbollah, have been confronting Israeli occupation forces across the Lebanese-Palestinian border and in the Israeli-occupied al-Jalil, Shebaa Farms, and Kfar Chouba Hills.
Today, Hezbollah attacked several sites using various weapons including Anti-Tank Guided Missiles, which targeted an infantry force, an Israeli tank, and a Humvee.
