What the Israeli occupation could not achieve throughout the war, it is trying to get during peacetime, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Ihab Hamadeh said on Tuesday.

During his interview with Al Mayadeen, Hamadeh reiterated that the Resistance was Lebanon's protector and is what prevented the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) from violating its land. "Anyone who believes that the Resistance in Lebanon has weakened is delusional," he said.

He further affirmed that "On the 61st day after the ceasefire, we will be in a position to make the Israeli enemy taste our wrath," adding that the committee overseeing the ceasefire had not shown any seriousness so far.

Reiterating Hezbollah's strength and capabilities, Hamadeh stated that it has the resources and minds that allow its forces to confront the Israeli occupation.

He additionally spoke about Syria and the latest developments, stressing that they do not impact the Resistance, contrary to what is generally believed.

Regarding the political ambiance in Lebanon, Hamadeh stated that the upcoming political phase would be the continuation of the war on Lebanon, led by Washington, emphasizing that Hezbollah would remain steadfast in its confrontation.

Concluding his interview, Hamadeh warned, "If the occupation takes any steps against Lebanon from the eastern side, following its expansion in Syria, we will carry out our national duty."

Earlier, Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad emphasized the need for caution in the current phase, stating that the Resistance is not being drawn into a military confrontation over Israeli violations, and reiterated that the primary objective remains "Israel's" withdrawal from Lebanese territory without the occupation offering any excuses for it exceeding the 60-day deadline.

Fayyad pointed out that significant questions are emerging in light of the major regional shifts and the impact of the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon. He criticized "Israel" for its "unchecked" attacks on Syria and Lebanon, noting that the entity receives international cover, with no significant condemnation from Western nations or action from global institutions, which remain ineffective.
