Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad emphasized the need for caution in the current phase, stating that the Resistance is not being drawn into a military confrontation over Israeli violations.

He reiterated that the primary objective remains "Israel's" withdrawal from Lebanese territory without the occupation offering any excuses for it exceeding the 60-day deadline.

Fayyad pointed out that significant questions are emerging in light of the major regional shifts and the impact of the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon. He criticized "Israel" for its "unchecked" attacks on Syria and Lebanon, noting that the entity receives international cover, with no significant condemnation from Western nations or action from global institutions, which remain ineffective.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he stressed that the ongoing situation reinforces the Resistance’s stance against the unrelenting Israeli aggression, describing the Israeli entity not as a "peaceful lamb" but as a "ruthless, savage wolf" that continues to perpetrate violence and destruction without justification.

Fayyad also condemned the Israeli ongoing attacks on southern Lebanese villages, the destruction of homes, and the targeting of areas previously unreachable, alongside drone strikes and air raids.

In addition, he highlighted the urgent need to address the welfare of displaced residents, ensuring shelter, and reconstruction. He called for a greater role from the Lebanese government and army in safeguarding Lebanon’s sovereignty, based on the executive measures outlined in UN Resolution 1701.

Concluding, Fayyad reaffirmed the importance of remaining vigilant, stressing that the essence of Resolution 1701 is the protection of Lebanese sovereignty and the enforcement of state authority. He pointed out that "Israel" has failed to comply with the resolution’s terms in the past and continues to disregard the executive measures, placing a heavy responsibility on all stakeholders to act decisively and without delay.

IOF army admits: Settlers crossed border into Lebanon, set up tents

The Israeli occupation army has, for the first time, acknowledged, on Wednesday, that settlers successfully crossed the border into Lebanon and erected tents, claiming the area for settlement.

Israeli media exposed the alarming violation from the Israeli side, as settlers from the “Ori HaTzafon” movement (The Northern Skins), known for advocating settlement in South Lebanon, breached Lebanese territory.

Initially denied by the Israeli army, an internal investigation confirmed that settlers crossed several meters beyond the Blue Line and audaciously set up tents on Lebanese soil. This provocative act, met with delayed acknowledgment, underscores yet another Israeli violation of the current ceasefire.

In response, an Israeli army spokesperson described the incident as "a dangerous breach under investigation," warning that "any attempt to approach or cross the border into Lebanese territory without coordination poses a severe threat to life and undermines the army’s ability to operate effectively in the area."

Israeli violations escalate

In a related context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon reported, on Wednesday, that Israeli occupation army tanks infiltrated deep into the town of Bani Hayyan.

This marks a clear breach, as the invading Israeli units had previously failed to enter the town throughout the Israeli aggression on Lebanon due to the fierce confrontations by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon—Hezbollah.

In related news, the Mayor of Naqoura, Engineer Abbas Awada, stated that the systematic destruction of the town, located just 3 km from the border, has escalated to 70% since the ceasefire went into effect.

Awada emphasized that prior to the ceasefire, the town had already sustained about 35% destruction. He condemned the continued violations by the Israeli army, which have exacerbated the damage despite the ceasefire.
