The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, has denied involvement in the rocket launch toward the Metula settlement in northern occupied Palestine, stressing that the Israeli enemy’s claims are a pretext to resume its aggression against Lebanon, which has not stopped since the ceasefire was announced.
Hezbollah also reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire agreement, affirming that it "stands behind the Lebanese state in addressing this dangerous Zionist escalation against Lebanon."
Israeli media reported on Saturday morning that air raid sirens were once again triggered in the Metula settlement, near the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
According to Israeli claims, five rockets were launched from Lebanon toward northern occupied Palestine.
The Israeli Army Radio said that “three interceptor missiles were fired at aerial targets in the north,” adding that the Israeli military is assessing what was intercepted.
Earlier, reliable sources for Al Mayadeen revealed that it is customary for Hezbollah to reveal its operations, adding that the primitive method of the launch suggests that Hezbollah is not involved.
The source stressed that the enemy does not need any pretext to continue its attacks on Lebanon.
'Israel' violates ceasefire with Lebanon again, dozens of raids
Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of Yohmor al-Shaqif in Nabatieh Governorate.
The aggression extended to different regions in South Lebanon, with a total of 32 Israeli raids targeting several towns.
The raid on the town of Tulin in the Marjeyoun district resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and injuries to several others, while Israeli warplanes flew intensively over the area.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center stated that two citizens were injured in the border town of Kfar Kila due to Israeli shelling.
Our correspondent also noted Israeli raids on the outskirts of Rashaya al-Fukhar, al-Khiam, and the area between Yatar and Beit Lif. Despite earlier shelling, a cautious calm prevailed in the targeted areas, with al-Khiam's outskirts continuing to be subjected to Israeli artillery.
Other Israeli raids struck the Iqlim al-Tuffah Heights, with two raids reported, as well as another on Jabal al-Rayhan.
