Hezbollah's Media Relations Office denied recent media reports and information attributed to the Resistance group on Thursday.

“In recent days, some media outlets have been notably circulating news and information attributed to sources within Hezbollah or to its officials. These claims are entirely and categorically false,” Hezbollah asserted in a statement.

The Media Relations Office reaffirmed that there are no sources within Hezbollah, noting that its "positions are expressed exclusively through official statements issued by the party’s Media Relations Office or through statements made by its officials in official or party-affiliated platforms.”

Hezbollah’s statement called on media outlets to “exercise the highest levels of accuracy and objectivity, and to refrain from publishing or adopting any information that has not been officially issued by the relevant authorities.”

The statement further reiterated “the Media Relations Office’s readiness to provide all necessary clarifications and responses to enhance professionalism and credibility” and to help “avoid mistakes that could mislead public opinion.”

European public support for 'Israel' reaches record-low: YouGov

This comes at a time of heightened tension in Lebanon, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement continue unabated.

On Wednesday night, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli helicopter targeted a house in Yater, southern Lebanon, with two missiles after residents of three homes in the town received threatening calls from "Israel" warning of imminent bombardment.

"Israel" has been regularly attacking southern Lebanon, most recently injuring a civilian after occupation troops opened fire on a gathering of civilians in Mais al-Jabal near the Palestinian-Lebanese border.

Lebanese MP Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in parliament, stated on Thursday that "halting the violations against Lebanon must be a national priority and a central focus of the government's agenda."

During a speech in Parliament, Fadlallah emphasized that Lebanese citizens "are enduring Israeli attacks and are calling on the state to play an active and effective role."

He underscored the importance of a serious and meaningful discussion that centers on the facts surrounding Israeli assaults, strategies to confront them, and the path to liberating the land, adding that "While we remain unaffected by the leaks, our stance is clear: Lebanon’s issue lies in the occupation and the violation of our sovereignty."
