Hezbollah strikes Neot Mordechai in first amid Qabriha retaliation

New data published by the Israeli Shin Bet showed that last August witnessed the highest level of rocket fire from Lebanon towards northern settlements.

According to the Times of Israel, the latest Shin Bet report states that 1,307 rockets “were fired at Israel from the northern front, an average of just over 40 rockets per day.”

Just yesterday, reports of over a hundred rockets launched from Lebanon targeted "Israel", after Hezbollah added the settlement of Neot Mordechai to its list of targets for the first time.

This operation came in response to the Israeli occupation's attacks on the town of Qabriha and other southern villages, which resulted in the killing of a civilian woman and injuries to two others.

Neot Mordechai is located southeast of the Kiryat Shmona settlement in the Upper al-Jalil, about six kilometers from the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
