Hezbollah strikes Tsnobar base, Israeli officials lament losing North
Israeli media have reported that more than five Israelis were injured and several buildings in Katzrin, located in the Golan Heights, sustained damage due to over 60 rockets launched from Lebanon.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah launched a series of drone and rocket attacks on key Israeli military targets, including the Tsnobar base in the occupied Syrian Golan with a salvo of Katyusha rockets.
This marks Hezbollah's second strike on the Tsnobar base since the movement started its operations in the North in support of Gaza.
Hezbollah announced that these operations were conducted in support of the "steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable Resistance," as well as in retaliation for the recent Israeli assault on the Bekaa region in Lebanon.
In a related development, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported that 20 people were wounded and one person was killed in the Israeli aggression targeting several towns in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon on Tuesday night.
Located 18 kilometers from the Lebanese border, the Tsnobar base is considered a key facility under the Israeli army’s Northern Command. It reportedly serves as a training ground for infantry troops and houses an artillery ammunition center, all protected by the Iron Dome missile system.
In a subsequent response, Hezbollah targeted the Hadab Yaron site with a precision strike, retaliating against Israeli aggressions on southern Lebanese villages and homes, particularly in Beit Leif. The same site was further targeted with artillery shells.
Early morning, Hezbollah also hit a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the Zar’it military base with artillery fire.
It is worth noting that Hezbollah's operations come after a day of intense activity, which saw attacks on 12 Israeli army positions and deployments along the occupied Lebanese-Palestinian border.

The rocket attacks prompted repeated sirens across the occupied Golan Heights, while a rocket landed near Nahariya without triggering sirens, as per Israeli media.
It is worth noting that explosions were also heard over Safad.
Following the Lebanese Resistance's strikes at Katzrin, former Israeli prime minister and opposition leader Yair Lapid posted a map on X showing the areas where sirens sounded, saying, "A day in the north of the country, and now a direct hit in the city of Katzrin. The government has lost the north."

Northern Israeli settlers have been expressing their discontent for 10 months as the Israeli government is unable to prevent the strikes on northern settlements, prompting criticism directed at PM Netanyahu and his government.
Anticipation killing 'Israel'
This comes amid fear within the Israeli occupation of an anticipated retaliatory strike from both Iran and Hezbollah over the assassination of senior resistance commanders.
Israeli media confirmed that Hezbollah’s threats and the prolonged anticipation of an Iranian response are pushing settlers to the brink, stating, “We cannot tolerate uncertainty. The anxiety of knowing we will be hit with an electric shock is easier to bear than not knowing when it will come.”
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that assessments suggest Hezbollah will indeed strike and is merely waiting for the opportune moment.
The newspaper also highlighted that in addition to concerns over the fate of Israelis in Gaza and the settlers’ wish to return to the settlements they were forced to abandon, "Israel" is grappling with an increasingly surreal situation as it anxiously awaits a response.
The report emphasized that the only thing worse than a disaster is the dread of its arrival—the uncertainty surrounding when, how, and with what intensity it will occur. It noted, “The anxiety is fueled by the prolonged wait in a state of uncertainty.”
