Hundreds of extremist Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds on Monday, under heavy protection from "Israeli" occupation forces.
According to local sources, around 600 settlers entered Al-Aqsa in organized groups, conducting provocative tours across the mosque’s courtyards. They also performed provocative rituals and dances near the al-Asbat, Hitta, and King Faisal gates, coinciding with what is referred to by settlers as the Shavuot holiday.

Meanwhile, in Dura, south al-Khalil, Israeli occupation forces detained nine Palestinians during a raid on the town. Troops stormed and searched the detainees’ homes, damaging their properties and vandalizing personal belongings.
The occupation forces also raided the towns of al-Dhahiriya, al-Samu’, Beit Ummar, and several neighborhoods in al-Khalil.

In Nablus, occupation forces stormed al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, a village south of the city, seizing two vehicles and transferring them to a nearby settlement. Additional raids targeted Salem, east of Nablus, along with Zawata and al-Ain refugee camp west of the city. In al-Ain camp, occupation forces deployed foot patrols and stormed several homes.
West Bank under attack: May statistics
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Israeli occupation forces and settlers killed 18 Palestinians in the West Bank during May alone. Additionally, 167 Palestinians were wounded by live ammunition or physical assaults carried out by settlers and soldiers.
The center also documented 557 arrests by Israeli forces during 1,160 raids conducted across the occupied West Bank throughout May. At least one Palestinian was also subjected to forced displacement during this period.
These figures underline the growing violence and repression Palestinians continue to face under occupation, amid a surge in settler attacks and systematic Israeli military operations.
