Israeli media have reported that five people were injured, including one seriously, in a shooting attack on an Israeli bus south of occupied al-Quds.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent has reported possible news of one settler being killed in the operation.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that the movement of vehicles near the shooting site at the tunnel checkpoint south of occupied al-Quds witnessed a disruption in the pursuit of the one who carried out the operation, detailing how following the operation, Israelis were still fearful another would take place.

Israeli forces carry out large-scale detention campaign in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of detentions across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, targeting Palestinians in a widespread campaign.

In al-Khalil, located in the southern West Bank, 15 individuals were detained, while 17 were detained in the city of Areeha. In the northern West Bank, one individual was detained in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, and two others were detained in Nablus.

When Israeli forces entered the village of Madama, south of Nablus, confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers. The clashes escalated as the occupation forces fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs. The IOF also stormed the town of Burqa in Nablus.

On Monday, similar confrontations broke out due to Israeli repression and mass detention campaigns.

In Tubas, the al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters engaged the Israeli occupation forces in fierce confrontations with automatic weapons near the city’s main street, forcing the IOF to withdraw. During the incursion, the Israeli occupation launched an airstrike on Tubas, killing two Palestinians.

In a precedented move, medical teams were prevented from reaching the martyrs as Israeli occupation forces detained their bodies.

Earlier, an undercover Israeli special unit infiltrated central Tubas disguised in civilian clothing and stormed a money exchange company.

Once their presence was revealed, the Israeli occupation deployed reinforcements and military vehicles in various neighborhoods, seizing equipment and documents from the company. During the operation, a young man from Tubas was detained.
