Situation in North comes at 'significant cost'
Israeli media acknowledged that the situation in the north is challenging and comes at a significant cost, with approximately 13 soldiers and officers killed during the Sukkot holiday alone, most of them in confrontation in Lebanon.
Suleiman Zarqa, the director of the Israeli Ziv Hospital in the occupied city of Safad, noted that “the military arena in northern Lebanon is very active, and the number of injuries there is substantial.”
Zarqa reported that by last weekend, 75 injured had been admitted to Ziv Hospital, including three in serious condition. He also noted that throughout the year, the hospital had treated approximately 970 injuries.
The IOF admitted the killing of the officer and three soldiers after the Israeli Ministry of Security admitted that 890 soldiers, officers, police, and security personnel have been killed since October 7, 2023.
