IOF chief says aggression to continue for 'many more months'
Herzi Halevi claims that the IOF will find Hamas' leadership “whether it takes a week or whether it takes months."
Israeli media reported that Herzi Halevi, the chief of staff of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), said his troops were close to dismantling all Hamas battalions in northern Gaza, adding that the war on Gaza would continue for "many more months."
AFP quoted Halevi as saying that the war would continue for many more months while the IOF worked with "different methods" to preserve long-term achievements - none of which materialized yet, besides shedding the blood of 21,000 Palestinians.
Last week, informed sources in Geneva revealed to Al Mayadeen that Israeli officials have disclosed to some United Nations-affiliated organizations operating in Gaza that the war will continue for at least two more months in Gaza at the current intensity, and perhaps even longer.
The Israeli officials affirmed that they were adamant about persisting with the aggression campaign against Gaza and that they did not intend to implement a ceasefire.
Halevi further claimed that the IOF would find Hamas' leadership “whether it takes a week or whether it takes months."
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that he declined to comment on the targeting of senior Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Seyyed Razi Mousavi, who was martyred in an Israeli airstrike in Syria's Damascus on Monday.
Seyyed Mousavi was one of the oldest IRGC commanders in Syria, and he was close to the commander of the IRGC's elite al-Quds Force, martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
Meanwhile, Yoav Gallant, the Israeli Security Minister, was quoted by Reuters explaining in an address to Israeli lawmakers that the occupation is facing a "multi-front war" from seven theatres, which include Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, occupied West Bank, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran.
Nevertheless, Iran has not taken any official military action against the Israeli occupation since it launched its aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7. However, Resistance factions operating under the umbrella of the Axis of Resistance have launched consistent attacks on Israeli targets from Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon.
From South Lebanon, Hezbollah continues to launch attacks at Israeli targets in northern occupied territories. These consistently expanding attacks have completely shut down Israeli settler communities, located at least 3.5 km deep into their occupation's line of withdrawal.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance has lately deployed new weapons and tactics in its latest round of confrontations with “Israel” in response to the Israeli massacres against civilians in #Gaza and the killing of Lebanese civilians.

'Israel faces an intelligent rational enemy' in Iran: Israeli officer
In a related context, Israeli Reserve Colonel Kobi Marom said that Iran is capable of responding to "Israel's" assassination of Seyyed Razi Mousavi, through a range of various methods.
One of the methods suggested by Marom is a heavy barrage of rockets from Syria toward Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories. The other two options that Marom listed were an attack on Israeli naval assets or the assassination "of senior Israeli officials outside of Israel."
Marom stressed that "Israel" is facing an "intelligent, rational, and cunning enemy," adding that "Iran can surprise Israel on several fronts, utilizing several methods to do so."
