IOF infiltrate southern Lebanese town of Blida, army on high alert
Israeli occupation forces infiltrated the town of Blida in southern Lebanon at dawn, prompting Lebanese army deployment as ceasefire violations continue.

An Israeli occupation force infiltrated the border town of Blida in southern Lebanon at dawn on Thursday, in a continued violation of the ceasefire agreement in place since November 27, 2024.
IOF enters the temporary municipal center in Blida
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, the incursion involved several military jeeps, which entered Blida’s temporary municipal center. The infiltration marks yet another breach by the occupation forces in the region.
Gunfire was reported during the operation. The Blida municipality stated that the fate of one of its employees, who had been inside the center during the incident, remains unknown.
Lebanese Army deploys in response to border breach
In reaction to the incursion, units from the Lebanese army were placed on high alert and deployed to the vicinity of the occupied area. Forces reached the perimeter of the zone penetrated by the Israeli unit.
The Israeli occupation continues its frequent violations in southern Lebanon, including operations in the Bekaa Valley and the southern suburbs of Beirut, defying the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
This latest incident comes amid rising tensions along the Lebanon–Palestine border and growing concern over the escalating aggression targeting Lebanese territory.
