IOF kill 19-year-old Palestinian in Burqa, east of Ramallah
19-year-old Qusai Jamal Mu'tan succumbs to his wounds sustained during an IOF and settlers' raid, shortly after reaching the hospital.
Al Mayadeen correspondent in Palestine reported on Friday evening that one Palestinian youth was martyred during an attack by Israeli occupation forces on the village of Burqa, southeast of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of 19-year-old Qusai Jamal Mu'tan.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society mentioned that its crews had transported an injured Palestinian who was shot by Israeli occupation forces who stormed the village of Burqa to protect illegal Israeli settlers attacking the village.
Local sources told the state-run Palestinian news agency WAFA that the settlers stormed several areas in the western and northwestern parts of Burqa, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, leading to confrontations with Palestinian youths who rushed to protect their village.
WAFA indicated that Mu'tan succumbed to his wounds shortly after reaching the hospital.
The news agency added that two other Palestinians were injured after being hit by stones thrown by settlers.
It mentioned that the Israeli settlers set fire to two vehicles during the attack and brought in sheep to a parcel of land nearby, indicating their intention to seize lands in the village of Burqa.
Earlier on Friday, WAFA reported that 18-year-old Mahmoud Abu Saan was killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank.
