Israeli occupation forces IOF launched a new campaign of large-scale incursions and arrests across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Monday, targeting multiple cities and towns, including Jenin, al-Khalil, Beit Lahm, Ramallah, Tulkarm, and Qalqilya.

Arrests in Beit Lahm and Jenin

In Beit Lahm, occupation forces arrested several Palestinians during raids on different neighborhoods of the city.

In Jenin, large forces stormed the refugee camp and detained liberated prisoner Bahaa Qasrawi after assaulting him and vandalizing his home in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood. They also raided the nearby town of Faqu'a, northeast of the governorate.

To the south, forces raided al-Dhahiriyah and Bani Na'im in Hebron, carrying out search and arrest operations.

In Ramallah, troops stormed Al-Mughayyir village east of the city with a military bulldozer, while another unit advanced from the northern side.

Operations in Qalqilya and Tulkarm

In Qalqilya, occupation forces entered through the northern checkpoint, while the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem, witnessed raids and the arrest of several residents.

This campaign is part of the ongoing escalation by Israeli occupation forces across the West Bank, marked by nightly incursions and near-daily arrests targeting Palestinians and their communities.

Palestinians confront Israeli occupation forces in Nablus, Ramallah

Tensions are escalating across the occupied West Bank as Israeli occupation forces and settlers intensify their assaults on Palestinian towns, triggering confrontations and widespread unrest.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in occupied Palestine reported on Sunday that confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and the town of Turmus'ayya, northeast of Ramallah.

Meanwhile, special forces from the Israeli occupation army abducted two young men from the Am'ari refugee camp south of Ramallah earlier today, according to a report by the Palestinian news agency WAFA. In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained four Palestinians from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

Israeli settlers escalate their attacks

Furthermore, WAFA news agency reported, citing security sources, that settlers attacked the Wadi al-Laymoun area in the village of Aboud, northwest of Ramallah, as well as the outskirts of the town of Deir Dibwan east of the governorate, with crowds gathering in the area, though no injuries were reported.

The settlers also attacked a Palestinian civilian's home in the eastern area, attempting to assault him and cause property damage, but residents of neighboring houses intervened, forcing them to retreat to the newly established illegal outpost on Jabal al-Ras.

These attacks come amid escalating Israeli violations against Palestinians and their property in the occupied West Bank, with Israeli occupation forces repeatedly killing Palestinians during raids.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported on the evening of August 16 that 18-year-old Hamdan Abu Alya had died after Israeli occupation forces shot him during their raid on the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Earlier that evening, Israeli forces raided the village and opened live fire, striking Abu Alya in the back before assaulting him, according to local council head Amin Abu Alya, who reported that the young man was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his wounds.
