IOF raid West Bank towns following Kedumim shooting op
The Israeli occupation forces have launched extensive raids in the West Bank, as search continues for the Palestinians who carried out the Kedumim operation.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have been storming the towns of Farata, Imatin, Hajjah, and Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank, since early Monday, in search of the perpetrators of the Kedumim shooting operation.
Three Israeli settlers were killed in a shooting attack near al-Funduq in the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli media outlets reported on Monday.
The spokesperson for the Shomron Regional Council confirmed a shooting attack targeting two cars and a bus on Route 55, between the village of al-Funduq and Kedumim, as per the reports. Israeli media described the incident as a "harsh attack", stating that two men carried out the shooting.
Additionally, the Israeli occupation army stated that one of the victims of the operation was an investigator at the Ariel police station.
Recent reports further revealed that the IOF detained the mother and brother of one of the perpetrators, during the raid of Baqa al-Hatab.
IOF launched extensive raids on West Bank towns
In the aftermath of the operation, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that settlers attacked the village of Hajjah, east of Qalqilya, and set a Palestinian house on fire.
In northern Ramallah, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that settlers burned agricultural land in the town of Turmus Aya. The town of Birzeit was also stormed.
Later in the evening, occupation forces also stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Meanwhile, settlers vandalized Palestinians' vehicles near the town of al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported.
