3,500+ injuries in one Israeli hospital since Oct. 7: Israeli media

At the end of December, Hazi Levi, the director-general of Barzilai Hospital in "Israel", reported that the medical facility has treated more than 3,500 Israelis since October 7, noting that the number of injuries has reached an "unprecedented" level.

Levi told the Israeli newspaper Maariv that the medical teams recall the period from October 7 to October 9 as one of the most challenging, treating over 400 Israelis in those two days alone. He confirmed that the hospital is still receiving numerous injured patients.

Reflecting on the events of October 7, he described it as "massive" with over 370 casualties in less than one day.

According to Israeli hospital statistics, the total number of injuries from the start of the war until December 21 is 11,658, including 133 fatalities within the hospital, 41 injuries classified as "critical or potentially critical," and 482 categorized as "serious."

In the hospitals in occupied northern Palestine, 1,836 serious injuries have been recorded since the beginning of the war. It is noteworthy that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has continued its operations since October 8, targeting Israeli occupation military sites and gatherings at the border in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and their Resistance.
