The Israeli occupation army has said that the fatalities within its ranks since the commencement of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, up until today, Monday, February 19, 2024, has reached a total of 574 Israeli occupation soldiers.

According to the data claimed by the Israeli occupation army, 236 of the 574 died after the launch of the ground incursion into the Gaza Strip on October 27, 2023.

Regarding the injured, the Israeli occupation admitted a total of 2,928 Israeli occupation soldiers sustained injuries, including 1,373 during ground confrontations with the Palestinian Resistance across various fronts in Gaza. Among them, 723 soldiers were classified as critically injured.

Furthermore, 545 Israeli occupation soldiers were injured in what the Israeli occupation army termed as operational incidents in the Gaza Strip. These incidents include accidents involving armored combat vehicles, combat equipment, and various weapons.

As per the Israeli army's data, 339 Israeli soldiers are currently undergoing treatment in hospitals.

Significantly, this number remains a partial admission as hospital records leaked on several occasions, in the past, have shown a significantly higher number of casualties across the occupation army.

3,500+ injuries in one Israeli hospital since Oct. 7: Israeli media

At the end of December, Hazi Levi, the director-general of Barzilai Hospital in "Israel", reported that the medical facility has treated more than 3,500 Israelis since October 7, noting that the number of injuries has reached an "unprecedented" level.

Levi told the Israeli newspaper Maariv that the medical teams recall the period from October 7 to October 9 as one of the most challenging, treating over 400 Israelis in those two days alone. He confirmed that the hospital is still receiving numerous injured patients.

Reflecting on the events of October 7, he described it as "massive" with over 370 casualties in less than one day.

According to Israeli hospital statistics, the total number of injuries from the start of the war until December 21 is 11,658, including 133 fatalities within the hospital, 41 injuries classified as "critical or potentially critical," and 482 categorized as "serious."

In the hospitals in occupied northern Palestine, 1,836 serious injuries have been recorded since the beginning of the war. It is noteworthy that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has continued its operations since October 8, targeting Israeli occupation military sites and gatherings at the border in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and their Resistance.
