IOF says Givati Brigades officer killed in Gaza, three others wounded
An Israeli officer of the elite Givate Brigades succumbed on Wednesday to wounds sustained earlier during confrontations with the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza
The Israeli occupation acknowledged on Friday that a Givati officer died and that three other soldiers were wounded during the ongoing confrontations with the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza.
According to Israeli media, the injured troops are in critical condition.
Under the “permitted to publish” clause, Israeli media announced that the officer was a Staff Sgt. in Givati Brigade's reconnaissance unit, and has died on Wednesday after succumbing to wounds sustained in Gaza.

His death brought the total of Israeli forces killed since launching the invasion of Gaza to 194.
Significant losses, both in terms of lives and military equipment, have been inflicted on the occupation army in the ongoing battles with Palestinian Resistance across Gaza.
According to Israeli media reports, the losses are being underreported or censored to avoid affecting the morale of settlers and soldiers.
These numbers have raised concerns among Israeli reserve soldiers, as the official radio station affiliated with the Israeli occupation reported on Wednesday that a number of reserve soldiers in the Israeli occupation army have refused to participate in combat operations within the Gaza Strip.
Surpassed October 7 losses
During the first week of the launch of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, "Israel" reported that some 1,200 Israelis were killed in Resistance operations.
In a broadcast videotaped address earlier this week marking the 100th day of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, Hamas' Al-Qassam spokesperson Abu Obeida said that the losses incurred by the occupation, throughout its invasion of the Gaza Strip, surpass those inflicted on it on October 7.
In terms of numbers, the spokesperson said al-Qassam fighters destroyed and targeted around 1,000 Israeli military vehicles in Gaza.
He added that the ground operations conducted by the Resistance fighters, in the context of the ongoing battle, "will go down in our Ummah's history as one of the greatest and holiest struggles."
Al-Aqsa Flood is a critical point in the history of the Palestinian people and the Ummah, Abu Obeida said, declaring it is a "scream that resonated [deeply], freeing the [entire] nations and colonized people."
