Israeli occupation forces blew up the home of martyr Muthanna Amro, an al-Qassam Brigades Resistance fighter, in the town of al-Qubeiba, northwest of occupied al-Quds, early Saturday.
Local sources reported that large deployments of Israeli forces stormed the town, imposing a military cordon and sealing off main roads before surrounding Amro’s family home, which had been slated for demolition under an order issued last Monday.
Soldiers drilled into the walls of the house before detonating explosives to destroy it.

Muthanna Amro was killed by Israeli occupation forces in occupied al-Quds alongside Muhammad Taha after carrying out a shooting operation in the Ramot settlement on September 9, which left seven settlers dead and 20 others wounded. The al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ armed wing, later claimed responsibility for the operation.
At the time, Hamas said in a statement that the operation is "a clear message that the schemes of the occupation in Gaza and the desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque will not pass without punishment," noting that it comes as "a natural response to the ongoing war of extermination against our people."
This is happening amid heightening Israeli aggression in the occupied West Bank, launching raid campaigns across Palestinian towns and villages, arresting Palestinian youths with no formal charges, arbitrarily killing Palestinians, and demolishing homes.
'Israel' to close West Bank crossing to Jordan indefinitely
In a related context, Israeli authorities confirmed earlier this week that Tel Aviv will indefinitely close the Allenby Bridge crossing, also known as the Karameh border crossing, between Jordan and the occupied West Bank.
A spokesperson for the Israeli authority overseeing the crossing said the political leadership ordered the closure but did not provide further details. Palestinian and Jordanian officials had earlier reported the move.
The indefinite closure raises concerns about further restricting Palestinian movement and disrupting trade flows in the region.
The move also comes amid heightened tensions after several Western states, including France, Britain, Canada, Australia, and others, announced recognition of the State of Palestine in hopes of reviving the "two-state solution".
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to deliver a government “response” to the recognitions once he returns from the United States.
