The Israeli aggression on Gaza enters its 111th day, and the occupation is intensifying its targeting of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, which is also witnessing fierce battles waged by the Palestinian Resistance.

The Israeli airstrikes in the area specifically targeted the Nasser Medical Complex, the vicinity of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, UNRWA centers, the area around a school housing displaced people in the Emirati neighborhood, and the al-Amal neighborhood. These attacks resulted in the tragic loss of more than 50 Palestinians.

Fourteen were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombing on the “Sina'a al-Wikalah” building, an educational building affiliated with UNRWA, which currently houses a large number of displaced people. According to reports, Palestinians had to bury bodies on-site due to the challenges faced by ambulance crews in reaching the location.

The al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah reported that it had received 45 injuries, including 15 critical cases, following the bombing of the “Sina'a al-Wikalah” building, adding that the health system in the area was on the verge of collapse.

Dozens of Gazans detained

The occupation stormed the "Abu Samak" building, located west of Khan Younis, detained all the males, and relocated women and children to the Red Crescent Society. Local sources verified a significant number of casualties in the area, with many losing their lives.

A martyr and several injuries arrived as a result of the Israeli bombing of a house in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Five civilians were martyred and others were injured after the occupation targeted the Omar bin Abdul Aziz Mosque in the al-Tanour neighborhood.

Several martyrs were also killed, including four children, and others were injured when the occupation bombed an entire residential square in the New Camp area, north of the Nuseirat Camp, in the middle of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli bombing targeted the town of Jabalia al-Balad, north of Gaza City.

Regarding the worsening humanitarian crisis, the Red Cross issued a warning about the potential complete shutdown of the health sector in the Gaza Strip. Subsequently, the World Health Organization expressed its concerns, cautioning about severe consequences and confirming the catastrophic situation of hospitals in Khan Younis.

Gaza death toll rises

On the 110th day of Israeli aggression on Gaza, the Israeli occupation committed 24 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip in 24 hours, killing 210 and injuring 386 others, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed to 25,700 and the injured to 63,740.

More than 52 martyrs have reached the al-Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, only within 24 hours. As a result of the Israeli targeting of tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the al-Mawasi area, many Palestinians were also martyred, and others were injured.
