Iran awards Order of Fat'h to Gen. Hajizadeh after strikes on 'Israel'
The honor is conferred on individuals who achieve significant military victories.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has awarded the prestigious Order of Fat'h (Conquest) to Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC's Aerospace Division. The honor is conferred on individuals who achieve significant military victories.
The awarding, which took place on Sunday, follows Operation True Promise II, during which Iran launched 180 ballistic missiles targeting Israeli military and intelligence installations near Tel Aviv on October 1. The strikes were a retaliation for the regime's assassination of Hama political bureau leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and top IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan.

Iran's news agencies noted that the decoration was granted in recognition of the "brilliant" operation.
Operation True Promise also included a major retaliation on "Israel" in April, when Iran launched hundreds of drones and missiles in response to the Israeli occupation's raid on Iran's consulate in Syria.

The Order of Fat'h features symbolic elements including three palm leaves representing resistance, the grand mosque of Khorramshahr—a city that symbolizes Iranian strength—and the flag of Iran alongside the word "fat'h," meaning conquest.
Around 400 missiles were fired at military infrastructure, with 200 reportedly intercepted by "Israel" in collaboration with the US.
Tuesday's missile strikes reportedly hit two Israeli airbases that housed F-35 and F-15 warplanes, along with the Mossad headquarters.
Iran warns 'Israel' against attack
On Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned the Israeli regime against responding to Iran's retaliatory strike, stating that any response would be met with even greater force from the Islamic Republic.
"We are not looking for war at all," he said. "We seek peace," but he underscored that regional security is deeply intertwined with the security of Muslims.
He further stated that the Israeli regime's provocations had forced Iran to react, noting that destabilizing the region's security serves neither European nor US interests.
On Saturday, an Israeli official informed AFP that the Israeli occupation forces were "preparing a response" to the Iranian missile barrage that struck "Israel" earlier this week.
Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the occupation has not only a right but a "duty" to respond to Operation True Promise 2, and it has the intention to do so.
