The mayor of Haifa, Yona Yahav, acknowledged on Saturday that the latest Iranian missile barrage struck two strategic sites in the northern occupied city, following his visit to one of the impact zones. His statement comes amid growing alarm inside the Israeli occupation entity as Iran’s Operation True Promise 3 enters its 17th wave of retaliatory strikes.
Yahav, visibly shaken after surveying the scene, described the aftermath as "depressing" and urged Israeli settlers to strictly follow instructions issued by the regime’s Home Front Command.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian strike targeted an administrative governmental complex in Haifa, which contains the Israeli Ministry of Interior. Analysis of the footage clearly shows a building that is adjacent to the ministry near the Haifa Harbor.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation has been bombing police stations in Iran in a bid to sow insecurity across the country; thus, the strikes carried out by Iran are merely a proportionate response. The Israeli occupation has been targeting public infrastructure in Iran, including the country's foreign ministry, one of its official TV stations, and other administrative buildings.
Iran using cluster munition?
Meanwhile, Israeli media confirmed that one of the Iranian missiles that landed in Beer al-Sabe in southern occupied Palestine carried a cluster warhead, causing extensive damage across a radius spanning several hundred meters.
An Israeli outlet further reported that the missile was likely a cluster-type warhead, stating, “its parts scattered throughout the city” and that it was not intercepted by the occupation’s air defense systems.
This comes after Iran launched the 17th wave of its retaliatory campaign under Operation True Promise 3, which targeted military and security industry installations as well as command centers of the Israeli occupation.
The spokesperson for the Iranian operation confirmed that the attacks were carried out using long-range, ultra-heavy missiles alongside attack and one-way attack drones.
'Israel' comes under large barrage
A massive wave of Iranian missiles struck deep into the occupied Palestinian territories earlier on Friday, triggering widespread panic across settlements and prompting the Israeli regime to issue emergency alerts all over the occupied territories.

Sirens sounded from the northernmost areas down to the southern city of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), following what was initially believed to have been a UAV infiltration. Shortly after, reports confirmed that dozens of missiles had been launched from Iran toward the south, including the occupied Naqab.
Iranian state media confirmed the launch of a fresh barrage targeting the Israeli occupation. Israeli media described the missile salvo as "exceptional" both in volume and in its geographic spread, with impacts reported across central and southern areas, including Tel Aviv and Haifa.
