A senior military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has reaffirmed Iran's determination to launch Operation True Promise III against the Israeli occupation in response to Tel Aviv's aggression against the country.
According to Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi on Friday, "If True Promise III has not been fulfilled yet, there is wisdom behind the delay, not that it has been canceled," describing the delay as purposeful and owing to intentional judgment.
The official praised the Islamic Republic's leadership as "wise, brave, forward-thinking, and prudent," implying that the operation would be carried out at Sayyed Khamenei's discretion and based on his wisdom.
The remarks came less than a week after Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri emphasized that the country had developed "all the [defensive] dimensions that are required for generating a [military] capability that is ten times [stronger] than the one deployed during Operation True Promise II."
Last year, the Islamic Republic carried out Operation True Promise I and II, which were retaliation attacks against Israeli aggression, launching hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones and attacking vital Israeli military and intelligence targets with precision.
Iranian authorities have stated that the nation used barely a fraction of its firepower during the dual retaliation.
On Friday, Safavi addressed participants in the annual pro-Palestinian International Quds Day protests in the northwestern Iranian city of Semnan, emphasizing the Israeli regime's strategic failures against the regional Resistance Front.
He described how Tel Aviv's efforts to demolish the region's resistance movements had resulted in its collapse and forced it to enter a "state of decline."
Safavi expressed how the occupation could not extinguish the spirit of the resistance despite destroying infrastructure and claiming thousands of innocent lives during the genocide in Gaza.
He vowed the future would not resemble the past, noting that ultimate victory would be for Palestine and the global Muslim world, as defeat awaits the Zionist regime.
He condemned the United States for its unwavering support of "Israel," accusing it of complicity in war crimes and regional instability, while also criticizing Donald Trump as an "insane and erratic" leader whose policies empowered "Israel's" aggression.
He further emphasized that despite Washington's extensive financial and military support for Israel, the Resistance Front had expanded beyond Palestine into Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria, proving that the US's efforts to suppress anti-occupation movements had backfired.
The advisor also emphasized the rising worldwide opposition to Washington's policies, urging Muslim nations to take real steps against American and Israeli interests.
Safavi called for diplomatic pressure on the United governments to withdraw its unconditional backing for Tel Aviv and urged Arab governments to cut all links with the Israeli forces.
