Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized on Saturday, during a series of international communications, that the Israeli aggression against Iran constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He stressed that his country will exercise its legitimate right to respond firmly, while calling on the international community to condemn the attack and hold "Israel" accountable.
In a call with the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, Araghchi stressed that continuing indirect negotiations with the United States is unjustifiable amid "Israel’s" brutal aggression, particularly given Washington’s direct support for the attack.
Araghchi emphasized that the assault on Iran constitutes a blatant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, asserting Tehran’s legitimate right under international law to respond firmly to Israeli hostilities.
The Iranian FM condemned the Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, saying it crossed all red lines and constituted a flagrant violation of international law, adding that "the international community must condemn this unprecedented and dangerous act of aggression."
He called on the European Union and UN Security Council members to take a responsible stance by condemning "Israel's" attack and holding it accountable, emphasizing that the Iranian people expect nations supporting peace and the rule of law to take concrete action by pressuring "Israel" to end its violations.

During a call with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, Araghchi stressed that "the Israeli regime poses a serious threat to regional security and international peace, calling on all nations to condemn this act of aggression."
Meanwhile, in a separate call with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Araghchi stated the aggression endangers global security and vowed a firm response. Bayramov assured that Azerbaijan would prevent any use of its territory or airspace for offensive actions targeting Iran.
For his part, former Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that the "repugnant" support from Britain, France, and Germany for "Israel's" aggression against nuclear facilities exposes Europe's claim to moral superiority as hollow, while urging Europeans to "uphold international law."
E3’s repugnant backing of Israeli strikes on nuclear sites, civilian areas, scientists & off-duty commanders-clear breaches of int’l law and even war crimes-shatters Europe’s self-proclaimed moral edge over the US.
