Amid the ongoing panic within the Israeli occupation and its anticipation of an Iranian response to the assassination of the Hamas political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, Israeli sources told Makan, an Israeli channel, that Iran might launch ballistic missiles and explosive drones at Israeli military bases.

The sources predicted that the Iranian response could occur within a few days, possibly by the end of this week.

Unlike the previous Iranian retaliation in April, which targeted southern "Israel" and specifically the Negev Airbase, Israeli occupation sources indicated that the upcoming attack might focus on bases in central regions.

In response to Hezbollah's threats, local authorities in Haifa have canceled planned events and activities. The local settler council of Hurfish has advised settlers to stay near protected areas and avoid gathering as much as possible.

This comes after Iranian Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei confirmed that Iran would respond to Haniyeh's assassination, emphasizing that avenging the martyr's blood is Iran's duty since he was martyred on Iranian soil.

In Lebanon, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that the Resistance would retaliate against the assassination of the prominent commander Fouad Shokr and the attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut. He stated that "there is no discussion or debate about this" and that "the response will be very real and very calculated, not merely symbolic."

Nasrallah further emphasized in his speech concluding Shokor's funeral that "we are in an open battle on all fronts, and it has entered a new phase."

Coinciding with Haniyeh's funeral in Doha, Hamas calls for day of rage

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has called for a day of widespread anger and mobilization, today, Friday, in protest of the Israeli occupation's assassination of its political bureau chief, leader Ismail Haniyeh.

In its statement, Hamas called for "massive marches of anger from every mosque, denouncing the cowardly assassination, condemning the ongoing genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, and defending our land, al-Quds, and the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque."

This call came after the movement conducted an absentee prayer [a prayer Muslims conduct when it is not possible to pray upon the body of the deceased] for the soul of the martyred leader was performed in all mosques, in loyalty to him, his message, and the blood of the martyrs.

After Friday prayers, Haniyeh is scheduled to be buried in Qatar.
