Iranian FM receives letter from his Emirati counterpart to boost ties

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian received was handed a letter from his Emirati counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan via the UAE Ambassador to Iran, Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi.
During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian and Al Zaabi emphasized the importance of boosting relations between Iran and the UAE.
Earlier, Al Zaabi highlighted the UAE's keenness to discuss ways of "boosting bilateral relations and areas of cooperation for the benefit of both countries."
The UAE Ambassador to Iran stressed that the two countries agreed to open a new chapter in bilateral relations, adding that ties between Iran and the UAE are improving and expanding in the existing fields.
It is worth noting that the UAE Ambassador to Iran, Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi, resumed his duties at the Embassy last August.
In a related context, Amir-Abdollahian hailed the opening of a new chapter in Iran-UAE relations last May, especially after appointing Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the country's new President.
