Iraqi Resistance launches drone attack against Eilat port
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has confirmed that the attack came in response to the aggression against the PMF, and in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched a drone attack against a strategic Israeli target in the '48 Israeli-occupied territories in response to the Israeli attack against a military base where a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) group was deployed.
In a statement on its Telegram channel, the Iraqi Resistance adopted the operation against the Eilat port on Saturday morning, noting that it was in response to the violation of Iraqi sovereignty, the aggression against the PMF, and in support of Gaza against the Israeli massacres and genocide against Palestinians in the Strip.

Earlier on Saturday, the director of Al Mayadeen's office in Baghdad confirmed that one person was killed and eight others were injured, as a result of the aggression that targeted the Kalsu Base in Musayib, south of the capital. He clarified that the aggression targeted the main entrance to the base and an office belonging to the PMF, adding that it was most likely carried out with drones.
Iraqi airspace remained bustling with the usual American air traffic, as confirmed by the director of our Baghdad office, who reported the monitored movement of an American air refueling plane in Iraqi airspace. Furthermore, another US State Department plane was tracked moving from Baghdad towards the Lebanese capital, Beirut, following the aggression, as per the ongoing report.
In turn, the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq verified that an explosion took place at its headquarters at the Kalsu military base.
Iraqi Resistance announces targeting the Israeli 'Ovda' air base
Similarly, in a brief statement on Friday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its Resistance fighters targeted the Israeli "Ovda" air base using drones.
The Islamic Resistance said that its resistance fighters targeted on “Monday, April 15, 2024, the Israeli Ovda air base in our occupied territories, using drones,” stressing that it would continue to destroy enemy strongholds.
The Resistance confirmed that the operation comes in solidarity with the people of the Gaza Strip and in retaliation for the massacres perpetrated by the occupation entity against the defenseless Palestinian civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.
After publishing the statement claiming responsibility for the targeting operation, the Islamic Resistance broadcasted scenes of launching drones toward the Israeli air base.
