Iraqis come together at Jordanian border in support of Palestine, Gaza
Thousands of Iraqis from different sects perform a unified Friday prayer as they continue to protest at the Jordanian border in support of Palestine.
A large gathering of Iraqi protesters performed a unified Friday prayer inclusive of all Islamic sects at the Iraq-Jordan border, in solidarity with Gaza against the ongoing Israeli aggression on the devastated Strip.
Thousands of Iraqi citizens flocked to the Jordanian borders last week and carried out an open sit-in, demanding the opening of the borders to reach Palestine in support of their Palestinian brothers.

As of Friday, crowds marched to join their protesting citizens and demand that their passage toward Palestine be facilitated by the Jordanian government.

Furthermore, the demonstrators announced intentions to block the passage of Iraqi oil shipments headed for Jordan, stressing that this measure aims to prevent any of their country's fuel from reaching the Israeli occupation, which the entity would use to continue its massacres in Gaza. However, they clarified that only the oil deliveries would be blocked, not the movement of goods or passengers.
It is worth noting that Iraq exports 10,000 barrels of Iraqi oil to Jordan daily.
The Israeli blockade of the Strip has been tightened for nearly 20 days, with food, meds, water, and fuel being nearly completely cut off by the entity.
Israeli war jets have been deliberately targeting civilians in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to break the will of the people, committing tens of massacres so far.
In its latest report, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the aggression on Gaza has claimed the lives of over 7,300 Gazans, most of whom are women and children.
