Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Naval Forces in Iran, Brigadier General Ali Reza Tangsiri, declared that an international naval maneuver in favor of the Palestinian people will take place next Thursday.

Tungsiri stated that the maneuvers will take place in Iran's northern and southern waters, in collaboration with a number of other ports across the world.

In the same context, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, expressed on Friday Tehran's condemnation of the  Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and Southern Lebanon.

Kanaani stressed that the attacks constitute a continuation of Al-Aqsa Mosque's desecration and the Israeli atrocities against Palestinian worshippers stationed at Al-Aqsa mosque.

He further added that these strikes are seen as a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and human rights toward the oppressed Palestinian nation. He urged the international community and relevant international organizations to respond in a way that is both effective and deterrent.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman called for a deterrent and effective response from the international community, blaming the world and international organizations for "the occupation's aggressive behavior."

Kanaani referred to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, emphasizing the importance of convening the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and uniting Islamic countries in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, in order to prevent the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and aggressive operations against Palestinians and Al-Aqsa Mosque from occurring again.

A few days ago, Raisi called for a convergence in the Muslim world against the atrocities of the Israeli occupation. He reiterated the call for holding an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss ways to confront the brutal actions of the Israeli occupation.
