The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps highlighted the remarkable progress made in the domestic production of UAVs, despite the challenging sanctions.
The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, General Alireza Tangsiri has revealed that Iranian military experts have developed water-landing drones and hybrid drones, which will be officially introduced in the future.
In a recent interview with Iranian media, the IRGC Navy commander stated, "The IRGC Navy has successfully created drones capable of taking off from and landing on water, a capability that will be publicly announced in due course."
He also mentioned, "Additionally, the IRGC Navy has designed hybrid drones with a single engine, complemented by a propelling engine. These drones have the capacity to carry out reconnaissance missions lasting up to 15 hours."
In a previous ceremony, Tangsiri highlighted the remarkable progress made in the domestic production of UAVs, despite challenging sanctions, and mentioned ongoing efforts by Iranian military experts to develop water-landing drones and drones capable of taking off from water.
The IRGC also revealed earlier on Sunday a new missile, manufactured to target "Israel," and the Fattah hypersonic missile.
Martyr Hajj Qassem Missile
The spokesperson for Iran's Defense Ministry, Brigadier General Reza Talaee Nik, has announced that Iran has developed missiles specifically designed for targeting the Palestinian territories occupied by "Israel".
General Talaee Nik made this statement during a memorial ceremony for martyrs in the city of Kabudarahang, located in the western province of Hamedan. He emphasized, "Today, we possess missiles known as 'Israel-hitting missiles,' as their primary purpose is to target the occupied territories."
