The spokesperson of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif, confirmed, on Saturday, that "if shelling on Gaza and martyrdom of civilians continues, the region could then explode uncontrollably."

Sharif added, in a statement to Al Mayadeen, that "the supporters of the entity, especially Washington, must realize that the continued killing of the Palestinians will lead to the patience of Muslims running out at some point," indicating the availability of "the necessary skills and capabilities to confront the United States."

The spokesperson continued saying, "Let the supporters of the [Israeli] regime know that those who cannot reach the Zionist entity [in battle] may be able to reach the US forces who are managing this war."

Sharif also pointed out that "Washington is the primary benefactor of the Zionist entity, and has set up an air bridge to supply it with military equipment and horrifying bombs."

In this context, he explained to Al Mayadeen that "All US bases and flights are being surveilled and monitored, US supply flights for Zionists are being monitored."

Iran stresses support against 'bestial crimes" by 'Israel'

Yesterday, after meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian reiterated his country's firm stance on supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of "Israel's" "bestial crimes."

"The Islamic Republic has placed consistent support for the Palestinian people's liberating struggle and resistance with the aim of complete realization of their human rights, among the substantive principles of its foreign policy," he told Guterres, after stressing the condemnation of "Israel's" genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The Iranian diplomat noted that silence by some countries and support by the United States has encouraged "Israel" to ramp up its deadly attacks against civilians in Gaza and the West Bank as he urged the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to act upon their duty quickly to support the Palestinian people's resistance.
