The Security Media Cell in Iraq announced that the country’s National Security was able to target a terrorist cell in Hawi Al-Azeem within the Diyala Operations Sector.

The cell indicated that nine terrorists were killed after they were targeted in the area in Diyala with three airstrikes. An Iraqi security source told Al Mayadeen that three Lebanese from Tripoli in northern Lebanon were among the terrorists killed.

The Media Cell explained that "the strike was carried out through three precise strikes by Iraqi F-16 aircraft, resulting so far in the killing of nine terrorists."

The targeted group was involved in the killing of 11 Iraqi soldiers.

ISIS targets Al-Sahaji

Iraqi media reported that ISIS terrorists launched four mortar shells at the Al-Sahaji area, west of Mosul, the center of the Nineveh Governorate, without causing any losses.

In parallel, a security source announced to Al Mayadeen that the suspect in the bombing of Baghdad Airport was arrested at the Sarha checkpoint on the Diyala Salah Al-Din road.

An Iraqi security source reported Friday that the Victoria Military Base at Baghdad Airport was targeted with at least six missiles, and anti-missile defense systems intercepted a number of them.

On his account, Abu Ali Al-Askari, the head of the security office in Iraq's Kataib Hezbollah, said the reshuffling policy, with the latest targeting Baghdad airport, will not work.
