Islamic Resistance in Iraq says attacked vital Israeli target in Eilat
The Resistance says the operation was in support of the Gaza Strip and in response to the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Wednesday that it had launched a drone strike against what it called "a vital target of the [Israeli] occupation" in the occupied Palestinian city of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).
In a brief statement, the Resistance said its operation was in support of the Gaza Strip and in response to the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians, including children, women, and the elderly.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq vowed to continue striking "the enemy's strongholds with increasing intensity."
The group also published footage documenting the preparation of the drones launched toward Umm al-Rashrash, with the Secretary-General of the al-Nujaba Movement, Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi, taking part in the preparations.

The latest operation follows an earlier on Tuesday, which the Islamic Resistance said targeted the Israeli Maalim base in the occupied Palestinian territories.
An informed source told Al Mayadeen that the Iraqi Resistance launched three attacks against Israeli targets on Monday, in response to the massacre committed by the occupation forces in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, which killed at least 90 Palestinians and injured hundreds of others.
The source told Al Mayadeen that the Islamic Resistance escalated its operations against the Israeli occupation following the al-Mawasi massacre.
In detail, the source revealed that early on Monday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched two operations, utilizing suicide drones against distinct targets, and a third operation using locally-developed al-Arqab cruise missiles.
In line with its policy of concealing the extent of its losses, which it follows in dealing with attacks and operations launched from various fronts supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and its Resistance, the Israeli occupation has not allowed the publication of information regarding the impact of the operations carried out by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
