The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Friday that drones targeted the US occupation Harir base in Erbil, in the northern part of the country.

In a published statement, the Islamic Resistance claimed responsibility for the drone attack on the US base, emphasizing that the targeting is a continuation of its strategy to resist the US occupation forces in Iraq and the broader region.

It emphasized that the targeting serves as "a response to the massacres committed by the Zionist occupation against our people in Gaza."

Additionally, the Iraqi resistance has consistently affirmed its commitment to targeting the US occupation due to Washington's support for the Israeli occupation and its pivotal role in the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance published footage documenting the targeting of the US base with a drone.

Earlier on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said in a statement that its forces successfully carried out an operation against a US occupation base located at the Conoco fields in northeastern Syria.

"In response to atrocities carried out by the Zionist entity against our brethren in Gaza, we targeted the US occupation base at Conoco field," the statement read, adding that its fighters resorted "to a barrage of missiles that successfully struck its intended targets."

A day before, Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its fighters targeted a vital target in the "Eliad" settlement in southern occupied Palestine using appropriate weapons.

In a statement, the Iraqi Resistance affirmed that the operation comes in continuation of the resistance against occupation, in support for the people of Gaza, and in response to Israeli crimes, especially against women, children, and the elderly, amid the ongoing aggression.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq underlined in its statement that it remains committed to "striking the enemy's strongholds."
