'Israel' calls up reservists after operations against occupation rise
Following the "Tel Aviv" operation which was conducted by a Palestinian from the '48 Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sounds the alarm and calls to enhance Israeli Occupation Forces presence.
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reservists have been called up by the Israeli occupation government following a series of operations conducted by Palestinians on Saturday.
While the operations were not connected, they came in a context of increased escalation as Palestinians seek to liberate their land and people from years of cruel occupation. The operations, conducted throughout the day on Friday, claimed the lives of at least four settlers including one Italian tourist that was killed in a ramming and shooting operation in "Tel Aviv" on Friday evening.
The Palestinian that conducted the operation was later martyred by IOF bullets, and revealed to be a resident of Palestine's '48 territories, currently occupied by "Israel," a town of Kfar Kassem, and held an Israeli residency permit.
Following the operation, Palestinian Resistance factions vowed the continuation of the path of resistance against Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people and its sanctities until the liberation of the land. In turn, Hamas announced that the attack was a "natural and legitimate response" to Israeli "aggression" against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and worshippers stationed there.
This marks the support of the Resistance movements for such operations being conducted not only in the West Bank and by the Palestinians of the West Bank, but even in the center of "Israel", and by Palestinians that have long been considered by Israelis to have been assimilated.
First operation conducted on Friday
Israeli media reported that a shooting operation in the Jordan Valley on Friday resulted in the death of three Israeli settlers.
The director of Al Mayadeen's bureau in occupied Palestine confirmed that "No Israeli soldier had arrived at the scene 20 minutes after the Jordan Valley operation took place." He emphasized that initially, Israeli media reported that the incident was a normal road accident. It was only later that the media reported that there had been an operation and that it had serious implications.
The Israeli media reported that the IOF possibly identified the vehicle allegedly belonging to the person/people who carried out the operation.
Moreover, the IOF's spokesperson announced that the IOF was combing the area of the shooting while IOF radio announced the imposition of a security cordon on the city of Areeha, as part of the search for those that conducted the operation.
Reservists called up
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the police to "mobilize all reserve border police units" and instructed the army to "mobilize additional forces".
A total of four reserve border police battalions will be deployed in city centers effective Sunday, in addition to the units already stationed in the Al-Quds region and Al-Lydd.
It is also worth noting that the IOF reported getting shot at overnight in the northern West Bank village of Ya'bad in a drive-by shooting.
