Israeli aggression targets Yarmouk Basin in southern Syria's Daraa
Al Mayadeen's correspondent says the Israeli aggression followed the overflight of a drone through Syrian airspace toward the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Syria reported early Sunday that Israeli shelling targeted the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa province in southern Syria, causing material damage.
Our correspondent pointed out that the Israeli aggression followed the overflight of a drone through Syrian airspace toward the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
This week, Syria was the target of multiple attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation forces, US forces, and terrorist organizations.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that on March 26, US and Israeli forces launched 10 "joint-terror" attacks on four areas in eastern Syria, resulting in the martyrdom and the injury of civilians and soldiers.
The Iranian Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported that a military advisor of the Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps (IRGC) was martyred in the US attacks on eastern Syria.
On March 28, two civilians sustained injuries in a residential building in the countryside of Damascus due to an Israeli attack, Syrian-based news agency SANA reported.
And on March 29, the Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that multiple attacks targeted several areas in Aleppo’s countryside, which led to the martyrdom and injury of several civilians and soldiers, in addition to material damage and losses in public and private property.
The Ministry pointed out that an Israeli attack coincided with a drone attack carried out by terrorist organizations from Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo.
