Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes and artillery bombardments on Tuesday morning, targeting residential areas across the Gaza Strip and killing at least 13 Palestinians.
In southeastern Gaza City, seven Palestinians were killed and others were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a house near al-Farouq Mosque in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood. The strikes coincided with the demolition of homes south of the city.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelled the northern area of the Nuseirat refugee camp, while warplanes launched multiple raids on northern Khan Younis. Artillery fire also hit central Khan Younis and the vicinity of the Hamad Towers to the north, alongside airstrikes on the city’s eastern areas.
In the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, five Palestinians were killed and others wounded after an Israeli strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced members of the Abu Latifah family in the al-Majaida neighborhood.
Damage was also reported at Nasser Medical Complex after the detonation of an Israeli explosives-laden robot nearby, part of the occupation’s continued use of such devices in northern and central Khan Younis.
