The Palestinian Health Ministry warned of a "catastrophic situation" after 900 Palestinians have been martyred and 4,500 have been wounded.
In the West Bank, there were 18 martyrs, including four children, with 100 Palestinians injured due to confrontations with Israeli forces.

An infant, Abd al-Rahman al-Dos, was wounded in an airstrike that killed 17 people including his 4-year-old relative.
The doctor treating al-Dos reported that he needed "emergency surgery for his head injury, but must wait until an operation room is available."
Not only does al-Dos require an operation room but sufficient electricity before doctors can attempt any surgeries.
"We have a list with many names of wounded patients waiting their turn. Some of them lost their lives due to a lack of resources."
Al-Dos' case is only one of hundreds among Palestinians awaiting treatment.
Emergency room doctor Mohammed Ghonim told AFP that most casualties arriving at the hospitals were mostly women and children, while medical supplies like oxygen tanks were running low, in addition to the electricity and water crisis.
