Israeli drone strike targets South Lebanon, no injuries reported

Earlier on Sunday, an Israeli drone carried out a strike targeting the area between Zefta and Nmairiyeh in the Nabatieh district, and then the Israeli occupation launched incendiary munitions on the outskirts of Aitaroun, located in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as two flares on the outskirts of Shebaa in South Lebanon.

Moreover, our correspondent reported that an Israeli drone struck an excavator in the border village of Khiam.

The Israeli occupation has not ceased its attacks on Lebanon despite full compliance from the Lebanese side.

On Saturday, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that four people were martyred and three others were injured after an Israeli occupation drone targeted a car in the town of Dawhat Kfarroumen, in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.

Earlier that day, another Israeli drone carried out an airstrike on the nearby town of Kfar Sir, also in Nabatieh, according to Al Mayadeen’s southern Lebanon correspondent.

Lebanese president condemns Israeli attacks

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun strongly condemned last week the ongoing Israeli violations in southern Lebanon, calling for a firm stance against any future incursions by occupation forces into Lebanese territory.

President Aoun urged the international committee tasked with overseeing the ceasefire to go beyond merely recording violations and to exert real pressure on "Israel" to halt its repeated breaches of Lebanese sovereignty.

He emphasized that silence or inaction in the face of such attacks undermines Lebanon's security and encourages further escalation by the occupation.

The remarks came in the wake of the Israeli attack on the municipality of Blida, where occupation forces killed a municipal employee during a raid on the building.

The municipality later confirmed that Ibrahim Salameh, who had been staying inside the building overnight, was martyred after being shot by occupation forces. His fate had remained unknown for hours following the start of the incursion, which involved several Israeli military jeeps.

Aoun denounced the killing, saying it is part of "Israel's" aggressive practices against civilians.
