Israeli envoy to UN kicked out of UNGA hall after one-man show
Gilad Erdan provocatively interrupted the Iranian President's speech and raised a photo with the image of Mahsa Amini, citing unsubstantiated claims.
Israeli occupation ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, was seen on Tuesday being kicked out by a UN security officer after the official raised a protest photo during the speech of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi before the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Newsmax posted a video showing security officers escorting the Israeli diplomat out of the room shortly after his one-man show.
The Jewish News Service also cited the Israeli occupation delegation as saying that Erdan was "temporarily detained" but "released with the assistance of Israel's security and diplomatic teams."

"There was indeed an incident when the permanent representative of Israel walked down the aisle and unfurled a photo during the speech by the president of Iran in the general assembly," media reports quoted a UN spokesperson as saying.
"UN security spoke to him. At no time was the ambassador detained in any way, shape or form. As far as we are concerned, the incident is closed," the spokesperson claimed.
During Raisi's speech, Erdan provocatively raised a photo with the image of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini, with a caption reading, "Iranian women deserve freedom now!"
After the incident, the Israeli occupation ambassador also took to social media to attack the Iranian President.
On his account on X, formerly known as Twitter, Erdan said his move came in support of Amini, who he claimed was killed "for not wearing a hijab 'properly.'"
Amini's death sparked Western-backed, funded riots and armed insurgencies in Iran, with incitement also coming from Western media outlets with the aim of undermining the nation.
Anti-Iran rioters claim Amini died after she was beaten under police custody for an alleged breach of the country's dress code for women. However, Iran's Legal Medicine Organization has confirmed that her cause of death was from complications she endured as a result of a craniopharyngioma surgery at the age of eight.
This comes as "Israel" currently detains at least 30 female Palestinian prisoners in its occupation prisons, subjecting them to harsh and inhumane conditions and depriving them of their basic rights.
It is noteworthy that since the start of the Western-backed riots and sabotage operations following Amini's death, the Iranian opposition's links and ties with the Israeli occupation have been exposed.
It seems that the Israeli envoy was so irritated by the Iranian President's words of "the continued occupation of Palestine and parts of Lebanon and Syria by the Zionist Regime and depriving the oppressed Palestinian people of their inalienable and inherent rights, especially in the formation of a Palestinian state with Bayt al-Maqdis as its capital, has led to the escalation of the crimes of this Regime and the expansion of the scope of aggression and threats to other countries in the region" that he used the term "murderer" to vent out his anger.
"Israel's" hypocrisy at the #UN halls is always loud and clear.

However, the truth is that it is "Israel" who is committing daily crimes against Palestinians, stealing their land, murdering their people in cold blood, and brutally arresting the remaining without being held accountable by the so-called international community.
In fact, in less than 24 hours, Israeli occupation forces killed four Palestinians in Jenin, one in Areeha, and another in the sieged Gaza Strip.
