The occupation's air force also targeted a statue of the late commander of the Quds Force in the Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps (IRGC), Martyr General Qassem Soleimani, in the town of Kfar Kila which borders the "Metulla" settlement in occupied Palestine.

Following "Israel's" targeting of al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, skirmishes intensified between the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation. Although the group did not say that the two events were related, it did target several Israeli occupation sites and groupings.

The military media of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah published footage of its operations against Israeli tanks in the Lebanese-Palestinian border area, which were mostly hit by the Resistance's trademark Kornet missile.

A group of fighters in the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said the group attacked several Israeli sites across the Lebanese borders, including the al-Bahri site, with guided munition.

Hezbollah issued a statement on Wednesday in which it revealed that Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers, as well as a radar system south of the "Manara" settlement.

"The group of martyrs Mohammad Tahan and Ahmad Qassas struck Wednesday afternoon, 18-10-2023, a gathering of occupation soldiers and a surveillance and reconnaissance system on the hill of al-Tahyat, south of Manara, using guided missiles, causing several casualties, including fatalities and injuries," the Islamic Resistance said in a statement.

In an earlier attack, Hezbollah said, "The group of martyrs Ibrahim Habib Debek and Ali Adnan Shqeir attacked Wednesday afternoon sites in Jal al-Alam, Zarit barracks, and al-Bahri located opposite Ras al-Naqoura with guided missiles and other suitable weaponry."

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon revealed earlier in the day that its fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank at al-Raheb military site.

In a statement, the Resistance announced that the group of martyrs Hussein al-Taweel and Mahdi Atwi targeted an Israeli Merkava tank at dawn today.

The statement pointed out that the Israeli tank was targeted at the al-Raheb site and was directly hit, leading to deaths and injuries among its crew.
