The campaigns of mass arrest have been accompanied by raids, assaults, and deliberate destruction of homes, as well as the seizure of money and vehicles.
The Palestinian Detainees and ex-Detainees Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 22 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank from Friday evening to Saturday morning, including a woman from al-Quds and several children.
The arrests occurred in different regions, such as al-Khalil, Nablus, Tubas, Beit Lahm, Jenin, and al-Quds. In addition to the wave of arrests, the Israeli occupation forces conducted raids, assaults, and deliberate destruction of homes, including seizing money and vehicles.
The cumulative number of arrests since October 7 has risen to around 6115, encompassing individuals detained from homes and military checkpoints and those compelled to surrender under pressure.
IOF renew West Bank raids amid confrontations with Resistance fighters
In the early hours of Saturday, Israeli occupation forces carried out incursions into several towns in the occupied West Bank amid intense confrontations with Palestinian Resistance fighters.
Supported by armored military vehicles, Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Kafr Thulth and Azzun east of Qalqilya, and Tuqu' southeast of Beit Lahm, as well as the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus.
Palestinian youths confronted the Israeli forces' incursions, and confrontations were reported at al-Tayaseer checkpoint east of Tubas in the occupied West Bank.
Additionally, Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canisters during their raid into the Shuafat refugee camp, north of occupied al-Quds, where they detained a Palestinian woman.
Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire and attacks by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank and occupied al-Quds since October 7 has risen to 361.
The Ministry reported that the total number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the year in the West Bank and al-Quds has risen to 42, following the martyrdom of a Palestinian youth on Thursday and nine others in Tulkarm and Nablus on Wednesday.
It is worth noting that the head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society, Qadura Fares, presented on Friday several cases of detention campaigns carried out by the occupation since October 7, with more than 6,000 cases, including 355 children and 300 women. Hundreds, if not thousands, have been arrested from the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of "Israel's" genocidal war on the Strip.
Amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, Israeli occupation forces have carried out frequent incursions and arrest campaigns against Palestinians in the West Bank and al-Quds, which include storming houses and destroying them, as well as sabotaging civilian infrastructure.
