The Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian teen in the occupied West Bank Tuesday, the Palestinian health ministry announced.

The killing took place during confrontations between the Israeli occupation and Palestinians who were fending off the forces who had been trying to storm the village and detain several civilians while assaulting them.

Only that Palestinian citizen was killed by Israeli fire in Nabi Saleh, Ramallah, not revealing any details about him.

However, locals identified him as 19-year-old Nehad Bargouthi, making him the second teen to have his life stolen at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces within a few days, as the latter killed a 17-year-old Mohammad Abu Salah in Jenin.

Palestinians have been confronting the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank for the past few hours in Nabi Saleh, leading the IOF to use live ammunition and tear gas, which caused several injuries. One young man sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transferred to a nearby hospital where he is being treated.

The Palestinian Red Crescent treated four Palestinians in the area for injuries they sustained at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.

Earlier in the day, Israeli media reported that a fire was opened against a military watchtower near Aqraba, Nablus.
