Israeli regime urges US join war on Iran, Axios reports
Since the launch of its aggression, Israeli officials have repeatedly raised with their US counterparts the possibility of American involvement in striking Fordow.

Over the past 48 hours, "Israel" has urged the Trump administration to join its war effort against Iran to eliminate Tehran’s nuclear program, according to two Israeli officials.
"Israel" lacks the necessary capabilities, such as bunker-busting bombs and long-range bombers, to destroy deeply buried sites like Iran’s Fordow uranium enrichment facility, which is fortified within a mountain. The US, however, possesses these weapons and has them stationed within striking distance.
Despite the repeated requests by the Israeli regime, the Trump administration has so far resisted direct involvement, maintaining that Iran would have no legitimate grounds to retaliate against US targets for an Israeli-led operation.
Officials warned that any American strike on Iranian territory, even a limited one, would effectively drag the US into a full-scale war.
One Israeli official told Axios that President Trump may have suggested a willingness to join the mission during a recent call with Prime Minister Netanyahu. However, a White House official denied that claim, and a second US official confirmed "Israel’s" push for US participation but said the administration is not currently considering it.
A senior White House official told Axios on Saturday that "whatever happens today cannot be prevented," referring to "Israel’s" ongoing strikes on Iran.
However, the official emphasized that a peaceful resolution is still possible if Iran was willing to engage.
The fastest way for Iran to accomplish peace is to give up its nuclear weapons program," the official believes.
Israeli Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter echoed that sentiment in a Friday interview with Fox News, saying, "The entire operation... really has to be completed with the elimination of Fordow," which is Iran’s underground uranium enrichment facility.
Since the launch of its aggression, Israeli officials have repeatedly raised with their US counterparts the possibility of American involvement in striking Fordow.
An Israeli source said the US is actively considering the request, and that "Israel" is hopeful Trump will ultimately agree.
At UNSC session, Iran accuses US of complicity in Israeli aggression
Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, issued a stark warning that an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities presents a catastrophic threat with potential consequences for the entire region.
Speaking at a UN Security Council session, Iravani stated that the Israeli aggression against Iranian nuclear facilities threatens to trigger a catastrophe with regional repercussions.
He pointed out that "Israel's" attack on Iran aims to undermine nuclear talks, sabotage diplomatic efforts, and drag the region into a broader conflict.
Iravani further accused the United States of being complicit by supporting and enabling crimes, asserting that Washington "shares responsibility".
AFP also cited Iravani as saying that Israeli attacks on Iran have left 78 killed and 320 injured.
IAEA confirms destruction at Natanz site
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), reported to the Security Council that the above-ground experimental enrichment facility at the Natanz site had been destroyed during the Israeli attack, citing the Iranian authorities.
He also noted that Iranian authorities informed the agency about attacks on two other facilities; the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant and a site in Isfahan.
Grossi said that at this moment, his agency lacks sufficient information, except for indications of military activity around these two facilities.
