Israeli settler injured in stabbing operation in al-Khalil
An Israeli settler was reported injured near al-Khalil in a stabbing operation.
An Israeli settler in his 40s was injured in an operation near al-Khalil, as reported by Israeli media.
Eyewitnesses say the car carrying the wounded Israeli and two female passengers was first shot near the intersection leading to the illegal settlement of "Kiryat Arba".
The driver was then stabbed, sustaining serious wounds, but the two other passengers were not harmed. The person who carried out the operation was reportedly able to flee, leaving behind his gun, knife, and vehicle.
Earlier, on July 21, an illegal Israeli settler was seriously injured in a stabbing operation in the illegal settlement of “Gilo”, south of occupied al-Quds.
The Israeli occupation police said they combed the area in search of the men who carried out the operation and managed to withdraw unharmed, adding that "a large police force, with the help of a helicopter, is still in their pursuit."
Israeli media reported that the occupation police and the Shin Bet intelligence service suspect that one or two Palestinians are behind the stabbing operation.
As “Israel” intensifies and escalates its attacks on the Palestinians, acts of resistance continue in the West Bank and al-Quds, especially during the past few weeks, which resulted in the injury of six illegal settlers, while five Palestinians were martyred.
During the period between July 7 and 13, the Palestinian Information Center documented 182 acts of resistance, including 15 shootings, two rockets launched, and two stabbing or attempted stabbing operations.
