Israeli soldier injured during confrontations in Jenin, IOF withdraw
The occupation forces were compelled to withdraw from the city of Jenin in the West Bank following intense confrontations with Resistance fighters.
The Israeli occupation forces launched a sweeping campaign of raids and arrests across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank, prompting a robust response from Resistance groups, which engaged in armed confrontations with the invading forces.
The al-Quds Brigades - Jenin announced that its fighters engaged in armed confrontations with Israeli occupation forces as they stormed the Khallet al-Suha neighborhood in the northern West Bank, unleashing heavy gunfire upon them.
The Brigades reported that they confronted the occupation forces storming the eastern neighborhood of the city with heavy gunfire, while their fighters engaged in fierce battles in Khallet al-Suha, al-Bayader, and the eastern neighborhood.
It also said that its fighters engaged in confrontations with an Israeli unit in Wadi Ezzedine, achieving direct hits, and noted the presence of an Israeli ambulance hastily arriving at the scene.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Jenin reported that its fighters engaged in intense confrontations with an Israeli infantry unit in the al-Bayader neighborhood, using machine guns and achieving direct hits among their ranks. They confirmed that "the screams of the occupation soldiers were heard, and Magen David Adom ambulances were seen rushing to the scene."
Local sources confirmed that an Israeli occupation soldier was injured during confrontations with Resistance fighters in Jenin. Additionally, the occupation forces arrested Qassam al-Shafei, the representative of the Islamic Bloc at the Arab American University, after storming his home in Jenin.
Palestinian media confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city of Jenin in the West Bank, due to the resistance fighters’ resistance and the losses suffered by the occupation.
Sporadic raids in the West Bank
In al-Khalil, in the southern West Bank, a large force of Israeli occupation soldiers raided the village of Beit Amra, west of Yatta. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that a Palestinian was injured after being shot by occupation soldiers at Rachel's Tomb, north of Beit Lahm in the southern West Bank. The injured individual was later transferred to a hospital in the city for treatment.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that sources indicated Israeli army forces stationed in a military tower near the northern entrance to Beit Lahm shot the young man, critically wounding him in the foot.
Local media reported that Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians near the village of Deir Nizam, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, resulting in burns sustained by two children and a woman. The settlers targeted Palestinian vehicles with stones during the assault.
In a similar incident, settlers attacked vehicles with stones on the main road adjacent to the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, causing several vehicle windows to shatter.
Alongside its ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces have expanded their operations, while settlers have intensified their attacks on the occupied West Bank. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the West Bank has now reached 716 martyrs and 5,750 wounded since October 7, including 10 women, 9 elderly individuals, and 160 children.
