The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Thursday that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) had demolished several medical departments during their raid on Al-Shifa Hospital.

The ministry specified that the IOF demolished the radiology department and detonated the burns trauma and nephrology departments.

Several doctors, patients, and displaced individuals have also been detained, the ministry added.

The occupation army is still storming the hospital departments, including radiology, burns, maternity, emergency, surgery, and others, and its tanks are surrounding us from all entrances, and…

On a similar note, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that communications remained cut off from within the hospital while the IOF continued to open fire on any signs of life inside the medical complex.

The agency added that hundreds of IOF soldiers stormed Al-Shifa Hospital, taking more than 5,000 hostages.

It further noted that the IOF detonated and destroyed medical equipment inside the hospital, demolished the kitchen, and razed the northern and southern walls of the hospital. They also bulldozed all roads within a kilometer radius of the complex.

Earlier today, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported that IOF tanks had renewed their incursion into Al-Shifa Hospital from the south, clearing extensive areas of its infrastructure.

They clarified that the IOF bulldozed extensive areas in the region overlooking the maternity ward at Al-Shifa Hospital.

It is worth noting that the occupation persists in disseminating a false narrative, claiming that Al-Shifa Hospital serves as "the main headquarters for Hamas" and alleges that the latter holds Israeli captives within it.

They also deliberately disseminate similar narratives about other hospitals in the Gaza Strip, using them as a pretext for targeted attacks. This poses a significant threat to the lives of numerous patients, resulting in the loss of lives and injuries for many.

Yesterday, the military affairs correspondent for the IOF's army radio, Doron Kadosh, confirmed that there are no indications of Israeli captives inside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
