The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades' Jenin Brigade made an exclusive statement to Al Mayadeen, announcing its preparedness to repel the aggression launched by the occupation on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp.

In the message, the Brigade addressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying "Let the criminal Netanyahu and his army commanders know that the Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade, has been preparing itself for this day, and has prepared a world of hurt for you and your soldiers."

Speaking to Al Mayadeen, the Brigade further stated that the "enemy is highly delusional if it believes it will break our will or weaken Resistance in the camp by targeting it with airstrikes and striking civilian homes."

The Brigade also addressed the Palestinian people, saying that it lauds the steadfast people in the Jenin refugee camp, who have always empowered the Resistance in the West Bank, reassuring them that the Resistance is well, that morale is high, and that no siege will break it, as before the Brigade's fighters lie one of two paths, either victory or martyrdom.

The Israeli occupation army announced on Monday morning the launching of a large-scale military operation targeting the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli Army Radio announced the decision was made to launch this operation in order to "subvert Jenin's armed infrastructure and detain its elements," with Yedioth Ahronoth saying the same.

Israeli media reported that Netanyahu, has been receiving urgent reports on the "operation", and that the aggression is being led by the commander of the West Bank Brigade in the occupation army, Avi Blut.

The occupation's media further revealed that the aggression was termed Operation "Home and Garden", and that it could continue for 72 hours, and will primarily target Jenin.

Also, according to a number of Israeli media outlets, the decision was made to begin the aggression on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp following the Palestinian Resistance's use of explosives during the last IOF aggression on the city, on June 19.
